I have to thank my Sis-in-law for so kindly allowing me to use stamps from her HUGE Magnolia stamp collection - thanks Linda!  Keep collecting so I can use them! (Ha-ha, Wink!)

The More Stamps, The Merrier!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #73
"Two's Better Than One"
Create a card or project using MORE THAN ONE STAMPED IMAGE!
This week's sponsor:

I've taken this opportunity to practice the "masking" technique, and I could not resist the urge to create a Halloween card....Why? Well, my sister-in-law, Linda, has a killer collection of Magnolia stamps (including Halloween images) - some still brand spanking new in unopened packages! And me, being the loving sister-in-law that I am, had to help her out (he-he!)
I used 4 different stamps from the Magnolia "So Spooky" Collection: #398 Sitting Witch Tilda, #412 Pumpkin and Leaves, #573 So Spooky Tree and #560 So Spooky Fence. Thanks Linda, for letting me play with your toys!

Look what I made - another "T-Slide" card!  I made a "T-Slide" card a couple of weeks ago, and kind of had a tough time with it.  I decided to give it another go, and I am so pleased with how this one turned out.

A Couple of Challenges...

I have not had much time to enter many challenges, but here's a little something I have been working on (forever) which qualifies for the following challenges:

Wild Orchid Challenge #3 - "One For the Girls"
The Crafty Pad Challenge #84 - "Glitz and Glitter"

It took at least 3 attempts to get this project right! I kid you not when I say I made this little Heart Box THREE times!  I guess I'm too persnicketty for my own good - I was just not satisfied with the final outcome until the FOURTH time around!  Ugh!  I keep asking myself: "Why can't I just make something simple?"  I still have not found an answer to that question.  Perhaps I just like to do things out of the ordinary?  At any rate, TA-DA!  Here it is!  I did not have a template for this Heart Box, and had to start from scratch.  I used my Cricut to cut 2" and 3" hearts, then I just measured the hearts all the way around, to determine the length and width of the bands.  Sounds complicated, I know.  It took me a while to figure it all out too!  When I've recuperated from the stress of creating this Heart Box, I will post a tutorial.  Say by, Valentines Day - LOL!  Just kidding, hopefully I will have a tutorial posted before then >wink!<

Project recipe:
Paper: Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink
Stamps: Tim Holtz Fabulous Flourishes, Stampin' Up! Tiny Tags
Ink: Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo, Versamark with Zing embossing powder Brown Sugar.
Tools: Cricut (Used to cut the hearts), Cuttlebug Embossing Folder Script
Embellishments: Lace, Flowers, Ribbon, Drawer Pull Knob (7 Gypsies), Satin Ribbon, Stickles Diamond, Floral findings.

Stamptacular Sundar Challenge #72: "Buttons and Bows"

For this week's challenge, create a card or project that uses both buttons and bows!

Our Sponsor for this challenge is: Stamp and Create

Here is my DT card for this week...

I cannot remember where I got this Precious Moments image. I regret that am not able to give credit to the artist for this freebie...

Anywho, my allergies have been flaring up something fierce lately, which is what inspired me to make this "Get Well" card - complete with a small packette of tissues.  Now who doesn't need tissues?!  Ahhh-choo!

BLOG CANDY Challenge at ScrapGirl Angie's Blog

Here is an entry for the BLOG CANDY challenge at ScrapGirl Angie's Blog

As much as I'd like to take credit for this beautiful creation, I cannot!  My sister-in-law, Linda labored hard & poured much TLC into creating this easel card & drawer.  I have posted this on her behalf so that she can enter the Blog Candy Challenge at ScrapGirl Angie's Blog - Beautiful work, girl!

Good Luck, Linda!  If you win I want half! (hehe!)

Thanks for stopping by - please show some love, leave me a comment!  It makes me so happy to hear from you!

The Shabby Tea Room Week #22: "Reflections"  This week's challenge is to create a card or project using the photo below for inspiration.

Here is my interpretation...

An inside view...

I created the mirrored "chandelier" using silver metallic paper, which was cut with oval nesties. The black swirled backing of the "chandelier" was cut using shapabilities fancy tags. See the chain from which the "chandelier" is hanging? I used an old earring! (I just knew that broken piece would be of use someday!)

Other materials used for this creation:
Stamps: Canteria by Prima
Ink: Vintage Photo (Ranger Distress Ink)
Paper: Lullaby Lane & Life's Portait (Webster's Pages), Black and White Cardstock.
Tools: Scallop Oval and Oval Nesties, Fancy Tags Shapabilities (Spellbinders)
Embellishments: ZVA Pearls in Pewter, White Satin Ribbon, Floral findings, Hat pin & beads, Mini Roses & Gardenias, Crochet Lace.

I have also entered this card in
Sentimental Sundays Challenge #15 - "Anything Goes"
Cupcake Craft Challenge #103 - "Lace"
Thanks for visiting today.  Please leave me a comment to let me know you stopped by - I love hearing from you!

Have no fear!

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #71 "Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails!"

This week's challenge is to create a card or project that is just for boys! How you do this is totally up to you!

Our sponsor for this challenge is: My Favorite Things

PRIZE: $25 Gift Certificate

Don't ask me why, but I always get stumped when it comes to creating a masculine card....could it be that I am too much of a "girly-girl?"  Ugh, this week's challenge made me work - my creative juices just weren't flowing, but I tried my best!  Here is my DT card for this week, using "Ben Paper Dolls" by Stephanie Fizer, available at MFT.
It's a "T-Slide Card"

You can find the tutorial for a T-Slide Card HERE.

Please join our "Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails!" at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge.  I'm looking forward to seeing your awesome creations & I need inspiration for future boy/masculine cards!
