This month is definitely going by too quickly!  Well, it's time for another fun sketch, and here is my  second-to-the-last card for The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge . Surprise! It's a Pop-Up Card!  How's this for unexpected?! And look who it is - Cocoa Mouse  (again!) You can find Cocoa at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps .   Next week is my last week as Guest Designer.  I will miss being the "Guest Sugar Baby" ('coz I just love that name!) but that does not mean that I won't be playing along!  Come play along at The Sweet Stop Sketch Challeng e - the Sugar Babies and I look forward to seeing your fabby creations! It's time for another weekly sketch challenge at The Sweet Stop , and this week's challenge has a little twist to it - use a tag! Here's Cocoa again, who has seemed to have melted my heart.  I found him at Sweet N Sassy Stamps .    I used the digi's Cocoa's Chocolates , Chocoholic Sentiments and Chocoholic , which is available at Sweet N Sassy Stamps .  The designer paper was created using Chocoholic ( Sweet N Sassy Stamps ) and Icing on the Cake by Technique Tuesday.  Doesn't the chocolate look so yummy? Mmmm!  Okay, now my sweet tooth is yearning for some chocolate....gotta go satisfy the urge!  Thanks for visiting today.  Please leave me a comment to let me know that you stopped by - I love hearing from you!

Ooops! I'm late!

I'm a little late with this posting - I thought I had it pre-scheduled to post, but apparently not. Pardon me, I just had a moment.... But anyway, check out this digi cutie, "Cocoa" from Sweet and Sassy Stamps  - he's the star of my Guest Designer  creation for The Sweet Stop Challenge this week.   Isn't Cocoa just sweet?!  He was perfectly paired with the new strawberry patterned ribbon that I bought from the Berwick/Offray Ribbon Outlet a couple weeks ago... All of the paper is by Stampin' Up! Garden Green was used for the base of the card So Saffron was stamped in Old Olive using a Stamps by Judith stamping stub Riding Hood Red was embossed with Leaves embossing folder Celery embossed with Swiss Dots. I used Stickles Stardust around the border of the white cardstock, the border punch is by Martha Stewart, and the lovely pearl brad was another bargain buy at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Chantilly, Virginia last month.

My First Guest Designer Invite

I am delighted to have been invited to be the July Guest Designer for The Sweet Stop Challenge .  This is truly an honor for me, as it is my very first invite of this sort.  So without further delay, here is this week's sketch challenge: Here is my creation...   I was inspired to create this card based on a design I saw at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Chantilly, Virginia this past weekend.  I love "shaker cards," and this was my first attempt to make one of my own.  I have to share a little secret with you though, the plastic dome for the "shaker" is actually recycled embellishment packaging!  Yay!  I've gone green - LOL!  I was pretty happy with the outcome of this project.  The fish stamp I used is from The Angel Company.  I coloured the image with COPICS, then added Stickles Diamond,  two coats of SU Crystal Effects , and for the finishing touch: those crazy googly ey...
