Here is another card I created, using an image from Di's Digi Downloads "Maisy Modern and Kaboodle on Swing" (Click on any image for a larger view) When I first saw this digi, I could already visualize a finished creation - I knew exactly how I wanted to showcase "Maisy Modern and Kaboodle on Swing." I coloured the image with pencil and ink, then added Stickles "Star Dust," and Stampin' Up! Crystal Effects for just a bit of bling. For the swing handles, I added twine. I chose not to use any designer paper for this card. Instead, I created my own background. For the clouds, I created a stencil by cutting cloud shapes out of some scrap paper, then applied ink using a sponge dauber. I did the same for the grass. Most of the flowers are handmade, with just a touch of Stickles “Diamond”. However, the white roses are from ZVA creations .
