It's Thursday again & time for our new challenge at the

This was my very first attempt at making a DOORHANGER & I must say that I was a little stumped on ideas. And then it hit me.....  >BAM!<  We live on a secluded country road (of which most folks don't even know exist! lol) The weather has been warming up so we've been spending a lot more time out back....

FISHING! That's where my theme began...

Tools: Spellbinders Fancy Labels, Labels 8; Cricut cartridge Cursive; Zutter Bind It All
Embellishments: Tim Holtz Game spinners; Brads

My original idea for this doorhanger did not include the spiral bound messages at the top & the message pad - that was an after thought! I was staring out of my studio window...wracking my brains for a starting point, then I began cutting & piecing...  then Viola!  I thought, "What the heck, let's add a couple more messages on a flip pad & why not some space to leave a message?"  This turned out to be a fun project & my Hunny was really pleased with the final turn out too. He really gotta kick out of the "Gone Fishin'" message because it's so him!
