Challenge #45: SWEET TREAT!
This challenge was to create a PROJECT (not just a card,) to include a TREAT, and of course some sort of stamping. Oh what fun?! I just love making boxes, especially when there is a SWEET TREAT involved! How could I possibly resist participating in this challenge?

I decided to create an "explosion box" with windows. Here's what I came up with...

While I was in Williamsburg the other day, I visited a lovely scrapbooking/stamping shop, which had all sorts of creative projects displayed, using techniques that I was eager to learn. One of which was making paper flowers. One of the ladies there, Miss Sarah was patient, and so kind to have given me a quick tutorial. Thanks, Miss Sarah! I just could not wait to give it a whirl for myself.

P.S. I am away from home & was not able to take very good pictures of this project, as I forgot my light box! These pictures do no justice to this gorgeous treat box :( Updated photos to follow...

Season's Change

Welcome back, Friends!  Come join me this week for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #78 - "Season's Change!" This week's challenge is to create a card or project using ONLY colors of Fall!   Oooh, how pretty, huh?! Our SPONSOR this week is  Magnolialicious Our lucky winner's PRIZE:  Here is my DT creation for this week's AWESOME challenge theme.... An inside view of the card, and custom envelope/box. All of the flowers on this card are handmade. I know, you're probably thinking, "oh what a lot of work!"  Actually, it really is not. I use paper punches to create the flowers and leaves. So, whenever I have very small scraps of paper I punch them with my floral punches & store them in a box for future use. It's very convenient for me to have the pieces already punched too. Then, whenever I get bored or often while I watch TV, I "form" the flowers & store them away so that they're ready when I need them. This is my box o...
