Think Pink & Butterflies & Flowers & Spring!

Happy Tuesday, all!  I'm late with this post because for the likes of me, I just could not find my camera!  I had already taken the pictures of this card, and set my camera down, with plans to edit and post these pictures on Sunday evening.  Anyway, things got a little busy on the homefront & I did not have time to work on my blog, so I planned to do so on Monday morning.  Long story short, I awoke Monday ready to edit my pictures & update my blog.  Where was my camera?  I knew I set it on my desk.... not under any papers... not hidden in any nook or cranny of the desk - where the heck was it??  Mind you, my camera is a big honking monster, so it's not something small enough to be easily lost.

Okay, this is gonna sound a little freaky, but I must share this eerie story with you.  My sister-in-law, Linda, staunchly believes she has a ghost in her house, who followed her from Connecticut (about 8 years ago) to Virginia.  Often times, things will be "missing" when she distinctly recalls placing an object in a certain place.

For some reason, Linda's tweezers and make-up is often "borrowed," then later & strangely reappearing!  I spend most weekends with Linda, crafting and creating, and we've had many crafting objects disappear & re-appear!  Freaky, strange, huh?!  We've concluded that the ghost is a female, and we've adequately given her the name of "Wanda."  We joke about Wanda "borrowing" things, then Linda always politely asks Wanda to return the item when she is finished. LOL!  I've always snickered when Linda would do so, but now I know better.  This morning I searched high and low for my camera, but to no avail.  I was so frustrated!  I took a deep breath and said aloud, "Wanda, could you kindly return my camera?  I really, really need it right now. Thanks! I appreciate it!"  Now, doesn't that sound silly of me?  Bite your tongue!  After speaking out loud to the air, I went outside for a bit.  When I went back into the house, guess what was sitting on my craft cart? Yep, my camera!  Weird and creepy!

Whew!  That was a long-winded story, but I just had to share that experience with you.... On to my card....

Season's Change

Welcome back, Friends!  Come join me this week for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #78 - "Season's Change!" This week's challenge is to create a card or project using ONLY colors of Fall!   Oooh, how pretty, huh?! Our SPONSOR this week is  Magnolialicious Our lucky winner's PRIZE:  Here is my DT creation for this week's AWESOME challenge theme.... An inside view of the card, and custom envelope/box. All of the flowers on this card are handmade. I know, you're probably thinking, "oh what a lot of work!"  Actually, it really is not. I use paper punches to create the flowers and leaves. So, whenever I have very small scraps of paper I punch them with my floral punches & store them in a box for future use. It's very convenient for me to have the pieces already punched too. Then, whenever I get bored or often while I watch TV, I "form" the flowers & store them away so that they're ready when I need them. This is my box o...
