This card took quite a bit of work (even for me,) but I love the final outcome of this creation. It took 3 tries to get the book piece just right! My original idea was to mount the book piece directly onto the card and be done with it. But all of a sudden, I had a surge of creativity - Ahhh! Let's make this an easel card! So then I started measuring, cutting, glueing, embossing, and TA-DA! Yay! One Christmas card done & just several dozen to go...
