Friends Forever...

Hello again, Friends!  Good day to you! This will be a long-ish post, so grab your cuppa-joe or tea & read along with me, please...

Here we are with another fun challenge:
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #76

Our challenge this week is to create a card or project using this SKETCH:

This week's challenge is sponsored by
Mo's Digital Pencil Shop
PRIZE: $15 Gift Certificate

I have had the pleasure of using Mo's AWESOME images for my DT sample.  Meet Mo's Wizard of Oz characters, which can be found at Mo's Digital Pencil Shop

Here is a close up of the entourage....

I went out of my norm, and perhaps a little over the top with this project.  For this wall art, I used the main characters from my most favorite movie of all time "The Wizard of Oz".  I was so excited when I found that Mo had added this group to her digital shop - I had to have them all!  With all the colouring & detail, I worked on this project over a course of three weeks (on and off)...  Lucky for me, I keep a stash of pre-cut leaves (& flowers) so most of the leaves were ready.  The additional leaves were cut & prepared while watching TV (I just can't do one thing at a time! LOL!)

Project details:
Stamps:  Digital images from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop - Kansas, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion and Scarecrow.
Ink:  Momento Tuxedo Black, Stampin' Up! Dusty Durango, More Mustard, Old Olive and COPICS.
Paper: Stampin' Up! Dusty Durango, More Mustard, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black.
Tools:  Leaf Punch, Tim Holtz embossing folder Woodgrain.

I have entered this project in the following challenges:
Pollycraft Challenge #61: "Autumn Colors"
Spoon Full of "Sugar Challenge #120: "Animal Crackers" -
Lion

Paper Play Challenge #36: "Autumn is a Comin' "

Thanks for visiting my blog today - please leave me a message to let me know you stopped by. I love hearing from you!

Season's Change

Welcome back, Friends!  Come join me this week for Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #78 - "Season's Change!" Our SPONSOR this week is  Magnolialicious Our lucky winner's PRIZE:  Here is my DT creation for this week's AWESOME challenge theme.... An inside view of the card, and custom envelope/box. All of the flowers on this card are handmade. I know, you're probably thinking, "oh what a lot of work!"  Actually, it really is not. I use paper punches to create the flowers and leaves. So, whenever I have very small scraps of paper I punch them with my floral punches & store them in a box for future use. It's very convenient for me to have the pieces already punched too. Then, whenever I get bored or often while I watch TV, I "form" the flowers & store them away so that they're ready when I need them. This is my box o...
